The Prince Edward later King Edward VIII Duke of Windsor in robes and coronet at his investiture as Prince of Wales in 1911.
He wrote later that he was so displeased having to do the Investiture and get all dressed up like this. He was embarrassed to show his face around his contemporaries after this.
